“I chose the name Sincere Sculptures because sincerity is what I strive for. To me, that means being honest, asking hard questions, and creating work with intention and integrity.

My practice is grounded in my personal values and shaped by the issues I care deeply about. I focus on topics we’re encouraged to overlook, like the ethics of meat consumption, capitalism, and overconsumption. These aren’t easy topics, but they’re everywhere. And often, we’re too busy (or too conditioned) to question them.

I’m not here to guilt anyone or hand out moral report cards. I’d rather spark curiosity than shame. I’m simply asking, Hey... have you really thought about this? Whether in a gallery or during a casual scroll through my site, I hope my sculptures offer a moment of pause — a space for reflection, conversation, and maybe even a shift in perspective.”

  • Custom clay

    Clay is endlessly versatile — perfect for everything from detailed figurative work to bold abstract forms. Madeline works primarily with polymer clay, which cures to a durable finish and can be sanded, painted, or sealed for effects ranging from hyper-glossy to soft matte.

    Clay commissions are priced based on size, detail, and finish.

  • Custom glass

    Glass commissions are available in blown, solid, or fused formats. Blown glass is ideal for hollow forms with movement and gesture. Solid glass allows for compact, weighty sculptures with interior detailing. Fused glass layers flat pieces in a kiln, creating crisp, graphic designs.

    Glass commissions are priced based on size, complexity, and the glass process used.

  • Custom mixed media

    If your vision doesn’t fit into one material category, mixed media is the way to go. These commissions combine materials like metal, glass, clay, wood, found objects, and more into one cohesive work.

Sincere Sculptures is a Calgary-based sculpture studio founded by artist Madeline Hardin in 2021. With a BFA in Sculpture and a Minor in Glass from Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts), and now pursuing an MFA in Craft Media, Madeline brings both technical skill and conceptual depth to her sculptural practice.

Madeline has developed a strong command of 3D mediums, working across a diverse range of materials including clay, glass, metal, and wood. Sincere Sculptures offers both her personal artwork and collaborative, custom sculptures that reflect your vision.

  • “How do I request a custom sculpture?”

    Start by sending a message through the contact form above or email info@sinceresculptures.com with a brief description of what you're looking for. From there, we’ll reach out to go over your ideas, budget, and timeline.

  • "How long does a custom piece take?"

    Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the work and Madeline’s current studio availability. Most commissions take 5–10 weeks from concept to completion. Rush orders may be possible for an added fee.

  • “How much will it cost?”

    Prices depend on size, material, and level of detail. After our initial conversation, you’ll receive a detailed quote. Small custom works start at around $250, with larger or more intricate projects ranging higher.

  • “Do you ship internationally?”

    Yes! Sincere Sculptures has worked with clients in Canada, the United States, Australia, and the UK. Shipping rates are an additional fee covered by the client.

  • "Can I be involved in the design process?"

    Absolutely. Your input is welcome every step of the way — from initial sketches to material selection. You’ll receive progress updates and photos to make sure we stay aligned on your vision.
